@danirabbit Even with the exemptions, I still feel a bit nervous. I have some innocuous Java applications and libraries, with very short shell scripts used to start java. Technically the java code is a plug in for java, and the shell script is a plug in for sh or bash. But would a lawyer agree with that?
Another complication is that one program, a graphics editor, can start an internal web server for displaying documentation (that is all the web server can do). Is that OK?
In elementary OS we’ve always taken the approach that content warnings and restrictions are better than subjective age-based ratings or restrictions. These are tools that benefit everyone—adults and children—and are where I’d like to continue put our attention with regards to curating the kind of content you want to see or hide on your devices
