Kind of telling how the attempts by fascists to take over the Furry fandom were largely rebuffed isn't it? Unlike what we're seeing with large FOSS projects like Linux and Mozilla there is no centralised authority who can be bribed into opening the door for the far right carrying buckets of cash and slop, no individuals who are so entrenched in power they feel they can become millionaires by selling out everything they pretend to support and attempting to take more control. Our wannabes will only ever be wannabes.

Be decentralised, be unmonetisably weird in your fandoms and don't ever let someone start to try to position themselves as a king, even if they come off as cool at the start.
