There's a very serious issue which the #technology sector and its enthusiastic fanboys (mostly it's cis guys into this shit, guys who misogynistically pretend that women are too emotional and irrational to deal with computers) have clearly yet to grasp.
It's a deal-breaking problem they have and yet they have persuaded themselves otherwise: no human being on Earth or anywhere else can possibly trust what a tech enthusiast says or promises.
They have ZERO credibility.

What's especially gruesome and sometimes amusing about the #tech crowd is that even as their entire movement is stampeding the world over the edge, openly calling for fascist strongman government and flexing their friendly relations with cops and military leaders and GOP (and Israeli) politicians, the tech weenies still talk as if they're just plain ol' working-class folks, lovers of freedom and such.
