If I decide to replace my Thinkpad T430 with a more recent laptop it'll probably be one with 360 degree hinges, just so I can tuck away the integrated keyboard and use it vertically.

this usecase obviously needs an external keyboard and laptop stand, but I still think it's the only scenario where sacrificing ports and expandability for the sake of a thinner/lighter laptop actually makes sense.
