71 years ago today white supremacists kidnapped, tortured, and murdered a 14-year-old Black child named Emmett Till.
Some still haven't heard his story. But in the wake of Nolan Wells and Tamir Rice, a reminder that these atrocities continue—and we must not become numb to them. Here's to remembering Emmett.
