I have shifted my policy on not redoing people's patches for them given the schloppgeddon, but what fucking sucks is that a big part of my job is now:
1. Sashiko reports 'not related to your patch but' (it REALLY has to stop doing that).
2. Somebody takes that and does a patch.
3. I spend time reviewing and realise that person will probably never be able to do the patch in a way that works
4. I now have new work do and also the pain of telling somebody their patch is being redone.
That's repeating over and over and over again and it's just not sustainable.
Too much in the kernel is based upon entitlement to other people's work and it really has to stop.
