Ahead of the International day of victims of enforced disappearance, we, Parliamentary Assembly President and @commissionerHR of the Council of Europe, alongside United Nations Human Rights Special Procedures, call for victims to be placed at the centre of all efforts, and action to be taken without delay. States and all stakeholders should reaffirm the primacy of law over force, the centrality of victims over oblivion, and the international rule of law. ⬇️
