Trump renaming Lake Ontario is no joke. Yes, it's ludicrous, but the naming is not the issue. Declaring the entire lake a "US asset" is the issue. Half of the lake belongs to Canada, so what he's doing here, is basically annexing a part of Canada.
And don't disregard it because the military wasn't involved.
