hard to put into words the feelings one has when scanning over a list of scholars fleeing to canada for prestigious positions because of conditions here. the only two i recognized in fields close to where i work are very established white men
(that probably says something about here and something about there)

This session instead seeks to imagine, in dialogue with past/global migrations, present/future transnational intellectual flows that previously seemed unthinkable.” 1/2
@inquiline We theorized via Butler on intellectual infrastructures and Levinas on hospitality. Audience of ten, so I concluded that most colleagues are good with the status quo. I’m glad to see critique here. 2/2
