I just got reminded that this coming 24th of December will be the 30th anniversary of my Linux adventures. It's not the day I installed Linux (that'd be the 26th, I think), but it's the day I made the decision to switch and never look back.
I should figure out something to celebrate this achievement with.

@ness funny thing... up until 2023, my main desktop had a direct line back to my first Debian install in ~1997. No reinstalls, only upgrades when the hardware changed. That was a ~25 year old install, old enough to drink.
I can still chroot into it. I didn't have the heart to delete it
I have an idea, but will have a sleep on it.
