Personally, I think nvi2 (e.g. https://github.com/lichray/nvi2) is kinda neat, though mostly because it has UTF-8/Unicode/multibyte character encoding support and Japanese is my second language, so editors which are stuck with ASCII encodings annoy the heck outta me.
My guess is: nvi2 is also not run by nazis, though if neovim is? I clearly hadn't paid much attention to it in the first place to realize such contamination.
Cake forks have three tines, which is ideal for cake but too little for everything else.
Neptune’s trident also has three tines, which is ideal for impaling the unworthy, but is too big for eating. Also too sharp. Please do not attempt to eat with Neptune’s trident.
So I suspect there is more than the number of tines to defining the optimal fork.
Also, I got to use tines in a post (fuck you Apple, no I did not mean ‘times’, stop auto ‘correcting’ a valid word to a different and wrong word) which makes me happy because it is a fun word.
