No sabía nada de Glee aparte de que era una cosa de musicales, pero acabo de oir su versión de Sweet Transvestite y he decidido que lo odio.
Han censurado la palabra "transexual" y la han cambiado por "sensational". Que cojones. Que coño. Que <todas las variaciones posibles de gónadas>.
Como dice un post de reddit que acabo de ver:
"If they're going to be so cowardly they cut the word "transsexual" out of Rocky Horror, they shouldn't be doing Rocky Horror.
Using the song and cutting out the word just sends a message to trans youth: you're so fucked up we can't even use the word "transsexual" in a song that uses it in the goddamn chorus."
"Rocky Horror is about queerness/transness. It's a camp send-up of the flamboyant queer alien/villain from old sci-fi and horror B-movies. That's its point, that's the whole thing's reason for existing. And this is its most widely recognized song, with the chorus specifically sweet transvestite from transsexual Transylvania.
Nobody could hear their version and miss the change. They took the trans people out of Rocky Horror. WTF."
