We have a chatroom on Matrix, which is an open source end-to-end encrypted messaging platform. It is federated like Mastodon, with different instances. We do not currently provide an open Matrix instance for others than admins (this might change in the future), but there are plenty of instances to choose from.
The room is invite-only for members, but we can send you an invite link.
Here is how to get in:
1. Create an account on an instance. Here are some options: https://matrix.org/ecosystem/hosting/ or for Finnish speakers: https://www.pikaviestin.fi/
2. Once you have a user account, update your Matrix ID in your profile here: https://members.mementomori.social/matrix
3. Let us know or wait for an invite.
