I'm suggesting that LLMs train themselves from patents.

Whenever a patent gets used, for the life of a patent, the patent owner can claim revenue. Even if the infringement was invented independently. https://patents.stackexchange.com/questions/771/what-happens-if-i-come-with-an-idea-that-was-already-patented

Filling LLMs with patents will give lots and lots of great ideas that, if the LLM spits out the idea, may cost the owners lots of money.
