OK, I did another attempt at a self-hosting rig, and I tried to make it as normie as possible: It runs Linux Mint, is managed by a basic web interface for Docker containers, and hides behind Tailscale.

And a shout-out to Acemagic, who sent over a review unit to test some of these things. It’s running a pretty spartan Ryzen embedded unit … and it did totally fine. (It’s also somewhat cheap.)
