I've got this pair of REI pants that I've worn for years and the zipper finally broke on them. But really there's nothing wrong with them other than the zipper. So I feel bad throwing them out.

The dry cleaner in town, where I would've taken them, is out of business. Anyone I find advertising "tailoring" in an 80 mile range doesn't answer their phone... the services REI recommends for repairs wants a small fortune to change a zipper...
