i don't know if they're actually rotating the right way here. i haven't used a cassette tape since like middle school
@gloriouscow depends if you’ve got a fancy auto-reverse player or not, but pretty sure the spool starts on the left and moves to the right, so the spindles will rotate anti-clockwise
that will change soon though! I have to see if this deck i bought off ebay even works
@gloriouscow should be like this (this deck does NOT play reverse side)
@thomasfuchs oh gods i didn't even consider that the different amounts of tape on each spool would make them spin at different rates
