I dunno mate, a lot of what people don't like about the shit I say comes down to being high on pretend. I hate pretend. I can't stand it. I hate when we all know the score, but we performative stand around talking like Alexander Hamilton in high-faluting language about bullshit. You can lie to yourself that's your business, don't expect me to lie with you. But America? Is a country high on pretend. Pretend leaks into almost everything we do. So as such Americans, constantly, make me angry.
