Please resist the temptation to use the events of today to declare that all the good things are leaving the world. She worked to bring light into the world through a lifetime that has spanned decades. Her passing should not be used as an excuse to doompost. She of all people would not have wanted hopeless despair to be her legacy.

You want to see more light in the world? Work for it. Follow her example, and don't just mourn its passing.
