Im gonna risk my neck a bit here - i have been on Pixelfed.social for a while now, more consistent use for some time now - as much as i like the tool, i must also say that it sometimes is soooo incredibly slow. Is this a lack of server resources ?. Also i struggle sometimes to understand some functions, i.e. when i click follow on a profile, the button never changes to unfollow, this got me in the beginning, probably a few that got me as follower on/off a few times before i noticed. Also are we supposed to see all posts from other mastodon instances we follow ? i only seem to get a very few of any posts from the fediverse from those i follow. I also see that the unfortunate behaviour where you click on a response to a post, leads you to have to clik n+1 number of times before you get back to the original post - it seems wrong, but it was the same on mastodon, so maybe its a protocol error. I believe Pixelfed is going in the right direction, but there seems to be a bit of way yet - being only on pixelfed i find that not much information is posted about the platform - where do i find such info ?.
