Listen to John. John is wise.
Last year I learned my childhood MMR vax had pretty much worn off. It was a post like that that led me to get that checked & my vax refreshed.
Measles is a horrible disease and can kill. Don't roll the dice. Ask you doctor to check your vax strength.
NB: The current recommended vaccination course for measles, 2 doses of MMR, is 97% effective at providing lifetime immunity. If you're around my age or older (old enough to remember the Star Wars-themed public service ads featuring C-3PO saying "immunize your children, please"), you might have received a less effective dosage. It's worth checking with your doctor to verify what you got, and see if you might need an immunity test or a booster. (I recently verified my immunity is still good.)
