Doing one of the faffiest quilting tasks possible, one of those ones where it's a bit cumbersome, a lot precise, and if you do it badly it's going to have a huge impact: Pairing and attaching the lining to the quilt top. They're just very big.
Sure, it could be even faffier if I was using a batting and I'm not, but... Wow, it's already a lot of work when I don't actually have a table large enough to do this on. Trusty clothesline rack and a lot of hand tacking, I choose you!

Whenever you're trying to make a lot of slippery fabric, overlapping layers or two fabrics of different weights to settle, like setting a lining on a skirt...
PET THE FABRIC. Just the act of gently smoothing your hand over it releases tensions between fibres and shifts the layers if you need them to move!
