I still find it alarming just how quickly Ai-generated "content" has rendered mainstream platforms unusable. YouTube is all slop. Image search is all slop. Legacy social media is all slop. It's like a nuclear carpet bombing has wiped out the internet, and only the humble cockroach that is the fediverse appears resistant.

And yeah, there's slop here, too, and if I see you boost genAi nonsense that's my cue to unfollow, but for the most part this place is alright.
