And egg watch has started for the Orange, NSW Peregrine Falcons. It could be any time in the next 4 weeks or so. Over the years the earliest first egg was 17th August (2012) and the latest was 28th October (2008, the first season in this location). Last year the date was 29th September, also late due to the changeover from Xavier to Gimbir. The average is in the last week of August. So this year's first egg is impossible to predict.
