The blue faction of the corporate party has thrown off any subterfuge that it's substantially different from the red faction by Jeffries meeting with Kushner. The blue faction's leadership in the form of the DNC is in full panic mode that leftish candidates are winning elections and are now meeting with the supposed opposition to attempt damage control.

They understand that if they lose a little control we might actually start electing candidates that would cost the elite profits and interfere with their ability to steal workers' labor.
