๐๏ธ So, I bought an abandoned school in Scotland! Goodbye Manchester, hello to a new adventure!
After a year of architects, engineers, plans and permits....I am excited to start work on renovations!
Brief post on Patron, with history and photos of the "treasures" left inside. Including newspapers for the Chernobyl disaster and a very out of tune piano.

Haha indeed! It's gonna be a bit of a change of pace. It's out of any village, overlooking farmland and a nice valley. Nearest city about 40 mins, nearest supermarket 15 mins. Nearest seal beach 45 mins ๐ฆญ
Not too far from life's essentials (and I mean the seals hahaha)
In rural Scotland, when you shop, start thinking in weeks, months and seasons... ๐
Also, when you move in, find the accepted ways of becoming part of the local community.
There will always be ways.
Also, also, find out if there's common land in the area. If there is, there'll be a common flock of sheep.
There's nothing like helping people to dig sheep out of snowdrifts in winter-time, as a way of getting them to see you as part of the local community. ๐
If you have any tech-/making- skills, find out where the nearest workshop is. :D
