It's true, we *thought* we fixed account migration in Pixelfed earlier this year, but a few pesky lines of code were to blame for breaking this migration feature.
So we disabled it until we could get it right, and after FediCon, @dansup (me) made it a priority to fix along with several other important bug and security fixes!
We are in feature freeze mode, and focused on further bug/federation/performance fixes, to make Pixelfed easier to install, more stable and more fun!
Account migration is live and working on pixelfed.social again!
It genuinely won't hurt our feelings if you use it.
One of the things we love most about ActivityPub is that no one should ever feel stuck.
