The city of Ulsan in South Korea is dropping a $37 million data center into the ocean, using cold seawater to cool AI servers instead of the electricity-guzzling chillers land-based centers burn through. Microsoft tried this years ago and found underwater servers actually failed less often, because there are no humans down there bumping into things. If it works, expect more. The cloud is officially becoming the sea.
