The Stuff is Mira Sorvino's debut. She is a Factory Worker but uncredited. She had just come to visit her father, Paul Sorvino, on set, and was used as an extra.

The CORRECT ANSWER is Marshmallow fluff, not used. In some scenes, a foam made of blended fish bones was used. It stank so much that, as soon as the shots were done, the actors ran to a river in order to wash off the stench.
