@joepie91@slightly.tech i feel that a somewhat related thing is that this erodes communities and trust in one-another

we used to be able to trust that, if someone made something, they cared about it, they actually poured legitimate effort into it. now we can't, which makes people suspect one-another and point fingers at one-another

it's horrible
