Rogue Scholar keeps challenging the functionality of my blog

Rogue Scholar continues to offer awesome features. It seems the recent move to InvenioRDM (14.0 was just released) was a good one. It does require rewrites, but make things more scalable. One thing that did exist in the InvenioRDM-based Rogue Scholar last year was citations to blog posts. But even that was redeveloped and relaunched a few days ago. It does not have yet the same amount of citations to blog posts as before, but more than 1200 can be found again.

This looks overly complicated for those unfamiliar with the requirements and the idea of embedding Rogue Scholar in the future. Or those pointed to it.

@rupdecat oh, that's just me. Most blogs will not list citations to blog posts anyway, but I think in the future Rogue Scholar will make it possible to just embed the data from their with a standard Hugo/Wordpress/etc plugin

Yes, perhaps. Can't say I will. It is far more likely to listen to real scientific discussions in contemporary podcasts or to read in rare but good editorials than in blogs - or I am simply not aware of such blogs.

I already learned something new. It turns out the @crossref actually is able to convert references with just a URL into one enriched with a DOI, as @mfenner showed me. Love to learn more how that technically works!
