I was on a town hall call with a CA Dem member on the House Oversight Committee and I kept asking in the chat, What *specifically* are you all *doing* to hold the line?

And he just kept saying how orgs like mine need to do more to call our Reps.

Like, do I need to call you do remind you how to do your fucking JOB??

This call was also hosted by my professional association here in CA which is supposed to fight tooth and nail to protect our interests. (This is what our membership pays for.) I applied for an open spot on their Public Policy committee back in 2017 and I remember saying that this association had better learn how to go up against fascists and they needed folks with guts on their com'tee. I was politely declined.

Anyway. This is happening. Call your rep and remind them to do their fucking job. I guess.
