Edit: all of these neighbours, to be clear. The young neighbour who heard a need and suggested mutual aid. The older neighbour who reconsidered her privileges, chose empathy, and took a chance offering resources, time, and knowledge. The new neighbour who met an offer of help with humility and gratitude.
