I wanted nothing to do with sports my entire life. Then I accidentally became a footy coach for one of my kids. Then a second. And a third.

Along the way I was a passionate fan for so many years. Middle-of-the-night World Cup matches and all.

I became disenfranchised by FIFA. They just chipping away at everything that isn’t the beautiful game itself. Then that bled into the game. Finally, the fascism support.

So, now, I tapped out. It makes me sad. It was fun to watch (and coach/play).
