Can a beginner/late-bloomer visual artist have a nice enough following without the Instagram/Facebook/TikTok/Bluesky profiles to earn some regular money?
Do I really have to use a hostile, anti-human platform that's Instagram if I want to regularly sell my artworks?
How could I do it without presence on any of those absolutely horrible places and not be broke AF?

@glitc_ I'm not an artist. But here in the fediverse we do have artists who sell their works with a good following such as @davidrevoy

@amoroso @glitc_ The Fediverse is a very crowded place, full of quality people, who select what they see on their TL, double check, and are often literate on many topics. It's my favorite place to post, and interact; because I don't have the feeling to have an "audience" here, but just being surrounded with intelligent and subtle peoples. I learn and evolve a lot thanks to the feedback here, and I think a majority of my supporters are on the Fediverse. So, yes, it's a solid platform for me 👍
