Mortified to discover that I am protein powder/creatine/ibuprofen/epsom salts years old.
@evacide why not two scoops of protein powder 😈
@evacide In the 90s, I did web work for some epsom salts marketers. They were genuinely nice humans and I have had a soft spot for epsom salts ever since. We are never too young for epsom salts!
@evacide Look: after fifty, if you wake up and nothing hurts, it means you've died overnight
@evacide Been there since 16; took til over 40 to accept it.
@evacide Is the protein and creatine for muscle recovery or cognitive boost? I definitely notice a difference in my ADHD depending on the type of breakfast I have, so I've been debating adding protein powder to my routine. I'm curious what your experience has been, if that's why you're using it.
@mpark Muscle recovery. In my experience, the cognitive benefits have not been significant, but I also haven't been looking for them.
@evacide Awesome. Thank you. Creatine and my regular diet are still working for muscle recovery, but I'm always looking for anything to help make the brains run on time.
You're fine - worry when you're Metamucil years old... 😉
@evacide For me it's electrolyte solution and fiber supplement, plus the Ibuprofen, so...
@evacide You’re never too old for that ibuprofen. 🤭
@evacide And you have to start doing daily yoga not to feel at one with the universe, but just to make your lower back feel only a little painful.
@AlSweigart I do contortion.
@evacide I am vitamin D, flax seed oil, magnesium, 15 minute yoga breaks, recovering from daily naproxen use years old

the ibuprofen is the tell. everything else is aspirational.
