Anyone here have good knowledge of how legal deposit _actually_ works in the United States? I'm a little alarmed to read this HN comment:
"The Library of Congress only selects around half of published books to be permanently held."
[Is that true?]

@rmounce when I visited LC a few years ago IIRC they said they keep two copies of every print book.
