Found a few ripe berries to eat from the purple-flowered raspberry (rubus odoratus) brambles on my walk this morning.

Rocking this fashion accessory, because despite the fact we're in the latter half of August the mosquitos are still SO bad?? I wonder if it's all the rain we've had.
Counted 21 bites on my two hands combined today, with a few more on my wrists. 🙃
I'm very very lucky that only like, one of them is actually itchy, I mostly don't react to mosquito bites unless I scratch them.

Just to be helpful...witch hazel stops the itching from starting if applied immediately. Fresh basil juice is marvelous any time.
