@jimniels in a couple of design lectures I talked about the Aesthetic Usability Effect. You’ll probably find it interesting. Design has a far-reaching impact, beyond beauty.

@markwyner started reading this and my brain was like "I remember encountering this..." so I went and looked and sure enough, found an old blog post.
I remember finding it fascinating, this idea of like: "it can functionally be 'easy to use' but unless people perceive it as 'easy to use' also, you won't get too far."
