Hi. Have you heard of our lord and saviour Emacs?

(Seriously, though:

1. Small and fast (i.e. 1980s levels of bloated).

2. Config via script, so you can manage it with your preferred SCM.

3. Massively extensible and customizable.

4. Not actually written by RMS*.)

* Really. RMS ripped off Gosling's Emacs for GNU Emacs.
