I want a MiniDV camcorder again.

I came up in class with the Canon GL2.

I always loved the Canon XL2.

And now I’m also looking at the Canon XH A1, shooting native 1080i on minidv.

Then the issue is getting the footage off because FireWire, and none of my available computers have FireWire.

I could get my old ‘09 macbook pro running. It needs a new battery, and maybe an SSD swap. But it has FireWire.
