On a serious note 😬. I knew the world was F-ed but I didn't realise we were this far ahead on the 'we're F-ed' timetable.
@TheBreadmonkey on covering vegetables in plastic: my understanding is that this reduces spoilage and damage and extends shelf life and therefore reduces food waste.
If you banned wrapping cucumbers in plastic you would actually increase CO2 emissions, as more cucumbers would need to be grown and transported to the shops to provide the same number of cucumbers for sale.
