Hey English speaking people, what do you call these? I called this something, and someone had a meltdown. Now I’m worried about my language skills
@farah sponges, scrunchies, loofas/luffa, bath corals, scrubbers... I think it varies.
@farah I’ve always called these poofs, they are super soft.
Loofahs are a natural, beige colored sort of tube shaped thing, and are much more abrasive.
falafel (j/k….lol there’s a dated reference)
I would call it a loofah or a shower puff, though I guess some people would reserve loofah for the natural plant loofah
@farah I called them bad for the environment and I still use washcloths.
my ex called them scrubbies...
I think they may have many different names all over the world.
@farah I’m going to get slapped for this one… A good question.
@farah I just call them sponges. I'm a native English speaker and I'm not even confident what they're called.
@farah probably not the right name but like a "scrubby"
@farah I've often seen them referred to as "puffs". "Did you remember your shower puff?"
@farah
Poofs
I can't imagine being hurt by this
@farah I’ve seen bath scrunchie, shower scrunchie, & shower loofah used interchangeably.
