Currently a humidex of 38 here. Gross. A tiny little thunderstorm would be lovely, but doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Had to look up humidex. Still not sure I understand what it is.
It's too hot to go outside. So I fixed a coding problem I've had for a long time! Hooray for more awful scary plots of the future night sky techbros want for us!
It's now just as hot inside as outside, and because the humidity has gone up, it feels even more gross than earlier even though it's slightly cooler now. The air is completely still. I wonder if going for a bike ride would actually make me feel cooler because even if I'm working a bit, the air is moving rather than stagnant? Hmmm
Totally way cooler biking! Also, extremely surreal due to the high altitude smoke we're getting and the neon yellow canola fields.
Looks rather post-apocalyptic. But like, in a nice way.

@sundogplanets At this point, post-apocalyptic could be a huge improvement.

@sundogplanets That’s what I tend to do when it’s like this. It’s great while moving, but once I stop it takes a bit to cool off.
But I’m getting some cardio, it clears my head, and helps me sleep, so totally worth it.
