No.

Fighting against LLMs are the wrong fight. Its a proxy for the real wrong thing, of end-stage capitalism and technofeudalism. LLMs are just a means of production.

The only reason we're seeing trillions of dollars, with multi-billion dollar datacenters at all, is because they're trying to solve a trillion dollar problem.

Wages. Our wages.

The problem is capitalists. Always has been.

It’s more interesting how Debian imagine enforcing no LLM, given that Linus approves usage in Linux kernel.

And yes, I fear codebergs decision will end up in wrong judgement if LLM is used, and repository owners will loose their work.

I have seen the damage LLM can do, it’s not very nice, destroying works of others.

Least to say those who use it heavily, ends up not maintaining “their” code, because they simply don’t understand it.

That being said, I have absolutely no problem using it for very specific tasks, that will keep me in control.

This discussion is rightfully, but it’s going overboard.
