I'm working on some little projects to stop this kind of shit for good (for me, and others if they're interested).
What a shitty internet we've frog-boiled ourselves into.

@paulca post-leaving google I've only had this once through cal.com, who gave me the ability to screen new meeting requests & report the garbage as spam.
@thisismissem — That's nice. I'm so early on my leaving Google journey, but I now see a clear path, and I'm heading towards the light! I'm doing it in a very "me" way though 😆
