palm tree somehow went to Mardi Gras in July
the same tree in a different stage, i am grateful for any feedback on which species it is (Los Angeles, but presumably not native to here)
@inquiline I got maybe Prestoea acuminata (Mountain Cabbage Palm) from iNaturalist suggestions. Otherwise, really doesn't look like anything I've seen before!
