I don’t know whether this is a hot take, but Kimetsu no Yaiba is just okay.
The animation and voice acting are good, but the stories are so-so. I got bored with it during the Entertainment District Arc and stopped watching.

@ramsey I'm fairly people mainly like ir for the sakuga.
I stopped after a few episodes as I found it boring lol
@Girgias This is my first time encountering the term sakuga. I’ll have to go back and watch an episode to see if I can spot how that plays into the animation style. (Or do you have another example of this style that’s less boring. 😅)
@ramsey I've been out of the anime loop for a while, so no immediate one pops to mind.
But it just means "amazing animation" or animation that's very detailled.
You can probably just pop sakuga compilation on youtube and get good examples
@Girgias I bet Dandadan fits that description.
@ramsey @Girgias Butting in a bit out nowhere -- but Mob Psycho is great at that, the simple style from One makes it all the more about the animation. Like how Ghost in the Shell 2026 which is also from Dandadan's studio is an eye candy with Shirow's style, but if you pay attention it has some tricks to use simpler animations.
@Girgias Your “ir” typo threw me for a loop because I was looking at the PHP JIT IR stuff just last night and thought, “How did she know? Did I post about it?”
