EU energy payments to Russia dropped 85%.
The price Russia pays is heavier by the day.
The 21st sanctions package will keep the pressure on:
👉 Suspending the adaptation of the oil price cap until July 2027
👉 Banning more Russian banks and a new third-country ban on crypto evasion hubs
👉 New targeting maritime services assisting Russia’s shadow fleet
👉 Paving the way for a visa ban for combatants, ex-combatants, and proxy groups taking part in the war in Ukraine
@EUCommission welche Sanktionen wir kaufen weiterhin Öl Gas Dünger und Co dort ein, wir lassen zu das Russische Firmen weiterhin hier arbeiten usw. wir bezahlen den Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine mit und zwar nicht unerheblich, und dann tun wir so als wenn wir auf der Seite der Ukraine stehen würden, da wir ihnen unsere Alten Waffen zu überteuerten Preisen verkaufen und wir ihre Technologien für einen Apfel und ein Ei abgreifen.
@EUCommission In contrast to other replies here, I appreciate that action is being taken. Of course, there's always room for more—but given that we live in a democracy with numerous 'decision deciders,' the EU seems to be heading in the right direction compared to other major nations and unions worldwide.
