The State of Illustration, 7th Edition brings together responses from more than 1,000 freelance illustrators, in-house illustrators, artists and related creative professionals.

It looks at who is working in the industry, how they work, what they earn and the challenges they face. It is the ninth large-scale survey I have run since 2011.
